Project Background
The project involves the rehabilitation of BRT Lite Lanes, specifically the construction of rigid pavement from Mile 12 to CMS, which is critical infrastructure managed by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA). This initiative aims to enhance the quality and durability of the BRT lanes, ensuring smoother transportation along major arterial roads linking various parts of Lagos.
Statement Of Problem
The existing BRT Lite Lanes suffer from deteriorating pavement conditions, impacting the efficiency and safety of public transportation. Addressing this issue is crucial to maintaining the integrity of the transportation network and ensuring reliable service for commuters.
Proposed Solution
The rehabilitation project proposes the construction of rigid pavement along the BRT Lite Lanes from Mile 12 to CMS, encompassing two phases. This solution involves the replacement of deteriorated pavement with durable rigid materials, enhancing the longevity and performance of the transport infrastructure.
